Do you know you can preserve the above listed for weeks without refrigerating? Yes, you can! without it getting spoilt or losing taste.
Depending on whatever you are preserving, let’s take meat as an example:
Thoroughly wash the meats.
Gently transfer in a clean pot.
Add the desired amount of seasoning to taste.
Bring to a boil till a desired result is achieved.
When it is done, drain out excess water.
Generously add some vegetable oil in a medium size pan for deep frying and regulate the heat to medium (it is advisable to fry on a medium heat) if you are using an electric deep fryer or whichever form, it is still the same step.
Fry the meat until a desired result is achieved.
Remove the meats and place in a neat pot.
This is the trick: you can decide to remove/sieve out burnt particles from the oil used in frying the meat, and pour into the pot that as the fried meat or use a fresh oil to preserve the meat.
To get a better result, it is advisable to pour a generous amount of oil, it could even be above the fries. Cover the content and heat up for two (2) minutes every five (5) days.
Yes, you can also use palm oil or mix both.
